The Gospel of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ is that God became like us to conquer and remove all the issues keeping mankind from being worthy of His presence. He became our sin so we could become righteous, He delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of Jesus. He forgives us freely, we simply believe in the power of Jesus' finished work to qualify for everything God has for us. We are no longer servants but friends of God. The list can go on and on.
The power of God's inner influence, otherwise known as grace, becomes effective in your life when your mind and heart understand the Gospel. When you understand that Jesus is LORD, that he is preeminent over all creation and that he has shared his authority over all creation with you, you will allow God's spirit to have its way in your life, and you will believe that nothing is more powerful than Jesus.
Understanding the Gospel means you know your sins are forgiven. Why is that important? Because the wages of sin are death. When you understand that your sins are not being held against you, you'll understand that the effects of sin also have no authority against you. The thing that enforces death in your life is sin and your sin isn't held against you. You are free to be healed.
Understanding the Gospel means you can bring hope to the darkest places and the most corrupt people. It means you can have total confidence in the power of this good news to transform a human heart and cleanse them from all unrighteousness.
Understanding the Gospel means you will live above the lure of sin. When temptation comes you can turn to God's power in your inner man and live in the power of righteousness, which is much more powerful than the lure of sin. The spirit is much more powerful than the flesh.
The Gospel is the most wonderful news anyone can encounter. The Gospel is more than information, it's a power generator, it sets in motion all the promises and power of God.
Dig into the Gospel, learn of Jesus and major on the cross. Jesus is LORD forevermore and the power of His victory over sin and death is alive in you!!!
