He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.

We have to relate to God based on his terms. He established his terms first in the Garden of Eden, then through covenants with Abraham and Moses. God gave us the sacrificial system governed by priests undergirded by the Law. But that was just a physical system given to prepare the hearts and minds of his people to receive the real thing or the life giving sacrifice when it was manifest in the earth. Jesus was the spiritual and eternal fulfillment of the physical and ceremonial rituals, feasts and sacrifices. He now resides as a priest over a New Covenant that is not based on the blood of goats and bulls but based on his own perfect blood.
