The church has a job to do, love God and unite in that love to take the Gospel to the world. The world needs to see us helping each other when we're hurting because we have the true source of healing, the spirit of the living God.

We can approach the throne of God to find grace and mercy in our time of need. We then get to carry that mercy and grace to others who are hurting. Those steps we take toward others after being confronted and strengthened by God are what build our legacy. Legacy is not about accomplishments, it's about how we impacted people. The world needs to see Christians turn to God for strength and then turn toward them in love. God's love being shed abroad in our hearts is our catalyst to love the world by bringing them the Gospel, and the Gospel is powerful enough to do the rest. Carry mercy and grace from God's throne to the hurting world and watch the Gospel radically transform people.
